President Donald TRUMP has called for immediate House approval of the GENIUS Act after the Senate passed the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for US Stablecoins Act with a 68-30 vote. In a Truth Social post, Trump hailed the legislation as a move to cement U.S. leadership in digital assets, calling it "genius" and emphasizing the need for rapid action.

"Digital Assets are the future, and our Nation is going to own it. We are talking about MASSIVE Investment, and Big Innovation," Trump wrote. He demanded a "clean" bill with "NO DELAYS, NO ADD ONS," urging lawmakers to send it to his desk "ASAP."

The bill now heads to the House, where Republicans hold a narrow majority. Supporters argue it is critical for maintaining the dollar's dominance in global finance. Senator Bill Hagerty, the bill's sponsor, claims it will benefit businesses and Americans nationwide once enacted.
